Welcome to the Arkansas State Postal Workers Union web site.
The Arkansas Postal Workers Union is affiliated with the American Postal Workers Union located in Washington DC. The APWU represents bargaining unit employees of the Clerk, Maintenance, and Motor Vehicles.
The object of the Arkansas State Postal Workers Union shall be to unite the postal Workers of Arkansas in one common brotherhood; to improve the Social and Ecoonomic Advancement of the Members and their families; to work for the betterment and preservation of the United States Postal Service; to unite with the AFL-CIO for the advancement of the organized labor movement; to provide for the education of its members; to represent Members-At-Large in Employee-Labor Relations; to provide all members with the opportunity to serve as a State Officer or Delegate; to conduct the Business of the State APWU; and to strengthen the Solidarity between the Locals and the Nation Union.
